• attempt to ride bike to work every day this week was thwarted by the rain and effing 7:00 a.m. coldness
• i wouldn't have let my efforts be QUITE so thwarted if i didn't have to dress semi-professionally
• so, drove to work and arrived semi-professional-looking
  
• and don't worry, i didn't sleep through my first session, as feared!
  
• then i worked
• and man, did it go by slowly
• came home and napped a good nap
• woke up from nap NOT feeling nap-delusional!
• kept reading about the air france flight even though i know better
  
• for dinner-making week, carl and i made ravioli skillet, which tasted better than the picture makes it look:
  

• and a hearty meal it was
• went to the parentals and picked up mum to go to the gym
• taught mum how to use the elliptical since she was scared of it before
  
• great success!
