- slept the frak in
- made a delightfully breakfasty sunday breakfast with carl which we consumed outside when it was lurvely out
- hung around?
- i forget
- went to dinner with carl's folks
- forgot my damn leftovers on the table!
- rented the first terminator (i'd never seen it, which, now that i have, i know what a travesty that is/was)
- before we watched it we had the break into the dvd case because blockbuster guy didn't unlock it
- the time we spent on that was probably more than if we'd just gone back to the store to have them unlock it, but it was more satisfying that way
- after the movie, read in bed next to the flowers carl picked for me outside, DAW
- worked, but with a pleasant batch 'o kids
- following my goal to try to cook better (or at all), planned some dinners and made ingredient lists for this coming week that includes things like garlic edamame with walnuts, ravioli skillet, and orange and honey berry compote
- ran some errands with carl, including picking up a bike helmet, lock, and lights for my endeavor to now bike to work since it's effing ridiculous that i drive there when its just over a mile and a half away down pleasant, scarcely-trafficked streets
- went to bannthai, the best thai restaurant in all of forever, with carl and dana and rachel!
- then we went to the drive-in!
- the line to get in was crazy long, so while we waited me and carl sang the lyrics we knew to "total eclipse of the heart" all joking like, but then looked it up on youtube and actually listened to it so we could get more lyrics and found it to actually be a really good, really sad song, so then we felt a little bad for making fun of it

- then continued to make fun of it anyway a little bit
- finally got in!
- first movie: terminator 4, which sucked
- second movie: star trek, which did not suck! at all!
- much crunch 'n munch and many twizzlers and peanut butter m & ms were consumed through the duration of the films
- spent waaaaaaaay too much time on the computer
- srsly, it was ridic
- thought about doing lots of other things but for some reason just kept being at the computer
- IT'S MESMERIZING
- I CAN'T STOP
- CAN'T
- STOP
- I SHOULD HAVE SPENT TIME OUTSIDE IT WAS A GORGEOUS DAY WHAT IS WRONG WITH MEEEEE
- went to work for a smidge
- came home and ate lots of wheat thins
- watched a certain sporting match that i don't care to discuss
- (pau gasol tranquilized the entire nuggets team, i just know it, that smarmy spaniard)
- LALALA NOTHING HAPPENED took the dog for a power walk with carl and got harassed by hooligans
- we practiced our crazy eye looks in case things got personal
- it was super toasty upstairs when we came in
- so we've retreated to the basement to read
- except by read i mean SPEND MORE TIME ON THIS GODFORSAKEN COMPUTER
- carl is actually reading, though
- i'm going to read vicariously through carl

- made blueberry pancakes, heavy on the blueberries
- anti-oxidants rule!
- finally got the bedroom in a state that doesn't make me go "awrhguhblehmfffttblarguhhh" in frustration when i enter it because of all the SHIT everywhere
- went for a post-rain walk with carl and the little dog
- laundry, oh, the laundry
- painted my nails bright orange!
- but couldn't keep my hands still enough or my heavy-handedness reeled in enough to keep them from having plentiful dents and "checking-if-they're-dry-too-soon-and-forcefully" fingerprint impressions on most of them five seconds after i'd finished

- work!
- leftover pancakes for dinner!
- a turn on the stair climber that nearly killed me
- but i didn't die!
- sleep
- work
- met betsy and carl at the parental's to watch the nuggets game and try to recreate the elements that allowed for the magic of the previous game to happen again
- it didn't work
- but we ate good pizza and ice cream sundaes, nonetheless!
- then i gave the bird to the lakers, as shown
- (it was really the lakers on tv, not a poltergeist)

- work
- effing nine inch nails and jane's addiction!
- (but at fiddler's lame ass green, pffffft)
- went to coors field to watch the rockies vs. the dodgers with my dad
- it rained most of the way there and the game was slightly delayed
- but then the rain stopped and didn't start again until we were back on the road home
- they lost, unawesomely
- then, once we got back, had betsy and carl over to watch the nuggets game with my dad and my brother and harley
- they won! awesomely!
- zomg i love birdman
- dropped a pie off at the parental's and borrowed the van to move a futon from the old place to the new place
- moved said futon, which has the heaviest, most difficult to carry cushion of all time
- so wobbly!
- went back and scrubbed and scrubbed and scrubbed up the old place for 3.5 hours with lacey and chris
- sooooo many cleaning fumes
- drank a strawberry limeade from sonic for the first time that lacey and chris got for me! yes!
- 'twas delicious
- went to carl's parental's to say hello to the visiting sister
- went home to take nap
- took nap
- dreamed of hot dogs?
- felt like it
- got up and picked up visiting cousin rob from portland and went to dinner, yay
- chili house lemon butter shrimp is so good
- started getting headache on the way home (from the cleaning fumes?)
- got home and went grocery shopping with carl and overhead two grocery clerks squabbling
- hella deal on raspberries
- 10 (packages) for $10!
- still have headache! sunuva!
- went to work, bleh
- but after that, a social whirlwind COMMENCED:
- went to lacey's awesome graduation party and talked to her grandma about clock chimes
- went to richie's also awesome graduation party and had the best spinach and artichoke dip i'll probably ever have in my whole life
- topped off the day with an also also awesome memorial day barbecue at dana and rachel's with tons of wine
- yes!
- booked a flight to motherflippin' COSTA RICA with kate in july!
- went to cousin richie's high school graduation ceremony wherein many familial shenanigans occurred, such as texting each other whilst two seats away, trying to make each other laugh during the serious parts, and making fun of the graduates' names. we're not ever really a quiet group, but it was worse than normal because the woman in front of us sternly told us within the first ONE MINUTE of cheering for richie that we needed to quiet down. the family did not take kindly to that and we spent the rest of the time being overly obnoxious (with my grandma leading the charge telling me she was going to hiss at the woman when she walked past and WOO!ing louder than anyone else at graduates she didn't know). mmmyes, all because how DARE we CHEER for our cousin/nephew/son at his GRADUATION CEREMONY

- came home and made four pies for tomorrow's plentiful graduation party/graduation party/memorial day/extra pie filling celebration festivities. part of the pie-making included crushing some hard to crush stuff which made this happen:
- went to the parental's to make the traditional scrapbook page for my cousin richie's high school graduation scrapbook
- came home and had bouts of crazy serious cleaning episodes that dissipated after about ten minutes, only to reemerge minutes later
- continuing our season one viewing, watched an x-files episode whose contents are represented by what carl is holding below: corn and cheese

- researched july trippage!
- took the little dog for a mile walk
- thought it smelled like pot in the basement, but it turned out that the little dog had a little carpet/toosh-explosion situation, the results of which apparently smelled the ganja-like
- cleaned up the pot poo
- did pilates
- went to work
- after work, went to former townhouse abode where i cleared out the rest of my stuff and cleaned my old room and bathroom
- went grocery shopping
- made big-ass chicken salad for dinner and sorely overestimated the amount of food needed -- what i thought would feed one lauren and one carl could actually feed four laurens and four carls
- went back to work for math teacher training hahaha i "teach" "math"
- came home and ate one lauren's worth of the big ass salad

- took the little dog for another walk after cooking and feeding her plain rice so as to avoid another carpet/toosh-explosion situation
- dicked around on the internet
- went to gym with carl
- now, to the reading-mobile!
- had the student who thinks i'm a vampire for a couple hours at work totally deplete my kleenex supply
- noticed that kobe bryant has a pea head, in addition to a shitty personality
- sat on the back porch and talked to kate over her lunch break about our possible july vacation

- thought about going to the gym after consuming too many waffle fries -- instead danced around in the basement to apopgyma berzerk
- started this self-obsessed blog (a tad redundant, i know)
