• booked a flight to motherflippin' COSTA RICA with kate in july!
  
• went to cousin richie's high school graduation ceremony wherein many familial shenanigans occurred, such as texting each other whilst two seats away, trying to make each other laugh during the serious parts, and making fun of the graduates' names. we're not ever really a quiet group, but it was worse than normal because the woman in front of us sternly told us within the first ONE MINUTE of cheering for richie that we needed to quiet down. the family did not take kindly to that and we spent the rest of the time being overly obnoxious (with my grandma leading the charge telling me she was going to hiss at the woman when she walked past and WOO!ing louder than anyone else at graduates she didn't know). mmmyes, all because how DARE we CHEER for our cousin/nephew/son at his GRADUATION CEREMONY
  

• came home and made four pies for tomorrow's plentiful graduation party/graduation party/memorial day/extra pie filling celebration festivities. part of the pie-making included crushing some hard to crush stuff which made this happen:
